関西学院(かんせいがくいん と読みます)の時計台が、登録有形文化財として登録するよう、文部科学省に答申されたようです。
なんか、ちょっとほっとした感じです。
私が学生の頃は、「大学当局との戦い」をしていた皆さんが、関学ｼﾝﾎﾞﾙである、時計台に落書きをしたり、立て看板で見えなくしたりと、その歴史的な建築物の扱いとしては、かわいそうなものでした…。
時間は「時計台」にも「我々」にも平等に経過し、世の中は確実に変化していますが、「建築物」として変換することなく変わらない形を保持しているこの時計台には敬意を表したいと思います。もちろん、日々ﾒﾝﾃﾅﾝｽをされてている関学職員関係者の皆さんにも同様に讃えたいと思います。
世の中はﾃﾞｼﾞﾀﾙに変化していきます。間もなく放送も全て変わる。
でも、人間はｱﾅﾛｸﾞです。
「何」を残しましょうか?

NAB2009の様子です。ｲﾝﾌﾙｴﾝｻﾞが騒ぎになる前ですが、やはり景気の影響でしょうか、かなり人出は少ないようでした。9.11後、SARS後のNABと同じような感じでした。USのある出展ﾒｰｶｰによると、「EU圏・ｱｼﾞｱ圏の人が少ないようだ」ということでした。
Internet等で直ぐに情報が取れる環境が整備されて、いわゆるExhibitionの意味合いが変わってきているのも事実です。
それでも、Las Vegasという街は成長して行くのでしょうか？
今年末にはCity Centerがｵｰﾌﾟﾝする予定のようです。

STAGETECとRIEDELに見学に行きました。
以前行った時もそうでしたが、ﾄﾞｲﾂ人は日本人の感覚に近いものを感じます。

10年振りに「北の大地」に上陸しました。そこら辺中の知り合いから「めっちゃ寒いで〜」と言われて、完全防備で臨んだのですが、大阪と同じくらいの気温で、ちょっと拍子抜けでした。タクシーの運転手さん曰く「たいていこの時期は雪振ってんだけどねぇ。お客さん、残念だね」 いえいえ、寒いのが苦手な私はこれで助かりました。
こちらでは、これからスキー、ジャンプの中継や、雪まつりイベント等で、各局とも忙しくなるようです。

一昨年、昨年と続いての甲子園ﾎﾞｳﾙ、ﾗｲｽﾎﾞｳﾙとはなりませんでしたが、
